How quickly do you respond?

We aim to reply to genuine bug reports and feature requests within a few business days. Marketing and SEO outreach is usually not answered.

A barcode won't decode — what should I send?

A clear photo or screenshot of the symbol, the expected value, and which tool you were using (barcode reader, QR reader, Data Matrix reader, etc.). Don't send sensitive personal data.

Can you add support for a new barcode format?

Possibly. Tell us the format, a sample symbol, and your use case. We prioritise widely-used retail and logistics symbologies first.

Do you offer paid support or an API?

Not today. The site is intentionally free and client-side. If demand grows we'll reconsider.

Are you affiliated with GS1?

No. ReadBarcode.com is an independent toolkit and not an official GS1 verification service.
